ACROSS THE WIRE – CLOSED
SE7EN: boring but important details: we’ll be open 9/13 at 8pm and will close Sunday 10/11 at 8pm (east coast tz).
all contributors will get a boilerplate response after we close and have had enough time to consider everything. apologies ahead of time for the lack of feedback. some pieces that kick ass, but didn’t make the issue, will be considered for across the wire, which will resume, on Tuesdays, in the new year.
we plan on publishing first or second week of December.
submission details: for seven, we’re looking for the same stuff that got us here. you don’t have to know what that is, but you’ll have a better shot at landing in the issue if you do. we love work about work. we love work that reveals the narrator’s obsessions, however odd they be.

Make yourself familiar with our work before submitting please. Yeah, we’re named after the song, but we do what feels right.
We welcome simultaneous submissions but ask that you let us know if the piece is accepted elsewhere. No previously published submissions, please.
Please do not submit PDFs; we only accept Doc or Docx files.
For images, please submit a .png or .jpg.

Poetry

There aren’t any limits to what can be considered poetry. It doesn’t have to look or sound like anything traditional— it might even be something you can’t condition into a specific category.
We’re flexible on length, but generally, please keep your submission to 1-3 pages. You can submit multiple poems within those three pages but we are looking for singular works, not collections. (It can be an excerpt but should be able to stand on its own.)
